Your baby’s development is our first focus

From how your baby sees the world at 9 months, to remote and simple developmental wellness checks every three months, their growth is our first focus.

Throughout the study, we provide guidance on how to support your baby’s development between 9 and 24 months. If any developmental concerns are indicated, we will offer comprehensive evaluations.

The FirstFocus Study, funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), can provide thorough developmental monitoring of your baby in partnership with your pediatrician, the Emory Department of Pediatrics and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

  • You will be asked to complete questionnaires about your child’s growth.

  • You will receive follow-up support when any questions arise.

  • Your child will complete an initial 15-minute session of watching short videos.

  • There is no cost to participate in this study. Families will be compensated for their time.
